What's new

A log of user-facing changes.

0.5.1

  • Stability: fixed a crash in the intake sizing tool that occurred with high-K injection configs (K above 0.90), where the computed anemic velocity threshold dropped below zero.

0.5.0

  • Admin panel: new panel at /admin for managing the product recommendations shown in the app. Lets the team create, edit and delete offers, choose which screen each one appears on, and toggle them individually. Available to the Eiseron team only.

0.4.0

  • Recommendations: Afinados now shows a section of curated third-party recommendations (courses and parts) whenever any are available. Each card makes clear it is not an Afinados product and that we may earn a commission if you buy through the link.

0.3.4

  • Docs right where you need them: each tool now links straight to the documentation page that explains it, and every doc page links back to the tool — so you can move between using Afinados and reading how it works without hunting for the page.

0.3.3

  • Portuguese or English: you can now switch the app between PT and EN from the toggle at the top, next to the theme switch. Your choice is remembered on future visits.

0.3.2

  • Easier to find and share: Afinados is now indexed by search engines (sitemap and robots.txt) and declares each page's canonical URL and language, helping the tools show up correctly on Google.
  • Under the hood: error monitoring and stability improvements.

0.3.1

  • Updated description: the text shown in search results and link previews now refers to "engines" in general, not just motorcycles, reflecting support for cars, mopeds, power tools and stationary engines.

0.3.0

  • New tool — Intake sizing: estimates the ideal venturi for an engine and plots how commercial sizes fit your RPM band. Color-coded per RPM (green ideal, blue for low velocity, yellow for restriction), with a thicker segment over the engine's working regime. Supports motorcycles, cars, mopeds, power tools and stationary engines, with per-vehicle K presets and an advanced section for boost, barrels, firing interval and Ve_max.

0.2.1

  • This release-notes page is now part of the documentation.

0.2.0

  • Revised fuel-passage curve: the curve now includes the main circuit's idle contribution (it was previously measured above idle), so setups saved in 0.1 — Mikuni included — may show a slightly fuller curve.
  • Multi-manufacturer: the carburetor manufacturer is now a first-class choice in the simulator — pick between Mikuni and Keihin.
  • Keihin support: selectable Keihin needles and needle jet (including drop-in clones such as NIBBI, KOSO and OKO), with the N427-90 needles for FCR 28–33 mm.
  • Persistent guest session: your setups no longer disappear when you close the browser.
